Development

Christof Schwarz already worked on design and construction of wind turbines during his studies in the mid 80s.

In the 1990s he was active in the field of site planning. At the end of the 1990s Christof Schwarz turned towards technical inspections.

In 1998 he founded the engineering office Christof Schwarz.

In 2000, he joined the 8.2 Group. In 2006 he was one of the three founding members of executive board of the 8.2 Consulting AG and until 2011 he was its Chief Financial Officer. Afterwards he concentrated again on his engineering office, with which he left the 8.2 Group at the end of 2014.

At the beginning of 2017, the engineering office was transformed into a limited engineering company (Christof Schwarz Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH) to meet the changed requirements in the international field.

Over the years, the company has inspected several thousand wind turbines from leading manufacturers.
